Studying abroad during your time at Iowa State can provide a valuable opportunity to travel, learn from faculty and students across the world, and gain perspectives on engineering from different countries and cultures. Chemical Engineering students have the opportunity to study and work abroad through programs offered by the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering, the College of Engineering’s Engineering International Programs office, and Iowa State University’s Study Abroad Center. Programs range in length from full-year, single semester, summer, and semester break programs.
